What brought you to BY for the first time?
I first came to BY as a 'break' from my gym schedule. I was getting a bit older and was looking for something a little more kind to my body. I discovered that yoga was also very kind to my brain as well. After a beginners series, I started coming 2-3 times per week.
What's your favorite thing about the studio?
My favorite thing about the studio would be the people. Everyone is so warm and welcoming here, both teachers and students. I've enjoyed getting to know more people as the years go on.

Yoga has given me some peace of mind and the ability to cope a bit better with some of the curve balls life throws. It also has improved my flexibility and overall physical and emotional well being.

Tie between Fire log/agnistambhasana pose and cow face/gomukhasana pose. I actually make a cow face while doing both of them.

Have you made any big changes in your life since starting your yoga practice?
Going thru YTT and becoming a teacher. My motivation for YTT was initially just to help with my adjustment to having my oldest go off to college. When Lisa asked me to teach, I liked the idea of challenging myself and also doing something a little uncomfortable/ out of the box for me.
If you were having a dinner party and could invite anyone you wanted to, who would you invite?
I initially thought of having the Beatles and the Stones. Fun, right?! After seeing the musical about her life, I'd love to hang out with Carole King. And two former first ladies, Jackie Kennedy and Michelle Obama. If we could have a cooking party with Giada DeLaurentiis where we make an amazing meal together, I think that would be a perfect night.
